Contents

Do you want to monetize your blog with Google Adsense?

Well, if you’re a newbie to Google Adsense, you need these Adsense approval tips that I followed when applying for my Adsense account and how I got approved within just 4 days.

I used to work for a guy who knew a lot about Adsense and also link building. He aimed certain keywords which will give him quality traffic from Google, basically, he is a pro at micro-niche blogging. He made over $300 every day just from his micro-niche blogs. I used to work for him as a writer for one of his micro-niche blogs.

I said and he gave me some tips on to get my personal Adsense approved. I’m going to share with you these tips that I personally got from him and that’s the known secret for getting approved every single time on Google Adsense.

Believe me, there’s no secret ingredient for getting approvals, it’s just how you present your blog. But I think these tips would help any beginner.

Adsense Approval Tips You Must Follow

Here is a small checklist, not very detailed, though. But this will give you a clear understanding. Here you go, here is the checklist from Adsense Guidelines.

  • Have a Top Level Domain (TLD).
  • No prohibited content.
  • Good and easy navigation for website/blog.
  • Having your site indexed on Google.
  • Fresh and no duplicate content.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 blog posts.
  • No redirection of website/blog.

This are the requirements for Google Adsense and he told me again about this. I knew, I had to follow the guidelines by every word.

In this guide, I’m going to tell you about some of the most crucial steps to consider before you think of applying for the Adsense program.

Publish Content That Google Loves

One of the biggest reasons behind many rejections is “bad content”. Google no longer rewards the, so called “SEO focused” posts where you keyword stuff and a lot of nasty tricks.

It’s important that you write for actual people not for search engines. In fact, I was blown away by the fact that natural content ranked higher than those who intentionally did naughty SEO tricks like bumping up the keyword density which leads to over-optimization which is bad.

Another thing to keep in mind is “thin content”. What does that mean? Well, it’s nothing but too short articles like a “100-200 word” article. Come on, Google wants to provide people value, so you should write longer blog posts of at least a 500 words.

Make your Blog SEO Friendly

When I say “SEO friendly”, don’t misunderstand me. There’s a difference between optimizing and over-optimizing. No one wants to read a paragraph which sounds robotic.

So, use your natural tone and write better. But you shall not forget some basic SEO requirements such as including your target keyword in the Title and Meta description.

It’s also important you use the keyword 3-4 times in the article and don’t think much about the actual keyword density. This makes things more natural and Google’s employee will love to read your post which increases your chances of getting approved.

Have Enough Content on your website/blog

It’s crucial to some quality content and about 10-15 blog posts is enough to catch Google’s attention. Remember to use images to make your posts easier to read. This gives Google a reason to think that you care about visitor’s experience within the website.

I prefer having at least 10 blog posts which are well-written which is both easy to read and enjoy. Another flaw is using too much images and too little content. This again comes to “value” which Google rewards the most.

Use Root Domain & TLD

You could apply for your Blogspot blog which uses the free subdomain. But you have very little chance of getting approved. So, buy a proper top-level domain such as .com and .org or even .net.

In fact, if you’re using other subdomains, you cannot even apply for Adsense. Having a personal branding and domain always increases your increases of getting your application approved.

Use Images Wisely

Did you like a photo which your competitor is using? Come on, forget it. Google hates people who use copyrighted images or content. This plays a vital role in your blog and is one of the common reasons for rejections.

If you want to use an image from another website, it’s important you give them proper credits which will fix this issue. However, you can also use free stock photos which are totally free to use anywhere.

One of my friends, recently posted an infographic on improving Wi-Fi signals before applying for Adsense. He wrote only 400 words, but the infographic provided “value”. He also had around 10 blog posts, but still he got hisAdsense account approved.

Clear Blog Navigation & Structure

How do you feel when you land up on a blog too messy? Do you feel annoyed at the first look? This same thing will happen to the reviewer if your blog is also one of those types. Annoying the reviewer at the first visit will never get to bring sweet results. So, a clear navigation and a good blog structureisa must.

Think about the font and the background of your blog. Will people or would you personally like the background or font you’re using. So, give your best at designing. Your blog must have a good navigation and structure. I also prefer a good font, rather simple.

Don’t Have Content which Adsense will hate

If you have read the Adsense guidelines by Google, you will know why I have given this heading. Don’t have content which Adsense will hate, really don’t do that. Adsense doesn’t support a type of blog providing hacking resources, cracks, violent content, adult content or other illegal content. As for the adult content, you might be able to work around this by stating there are no minors allowed access to your website.

This is what Google clearly says on their guidelines which you must follow before applying for Adsense. If you don’t follow their guide, why should they approve you? So, grip the importance of looking and reading the guidelines too.

Conclusion

I believe I have given you at least one advice that would really help you. Anyway, if you don’t know that you don’t need good traffic to get approved. In fact, my friend got approved when he was getting only 20-50 visitors a day. That’s very less indeed but Google prioritizes content and freshness of your blog.
